The organisation
Orah Energy works across solar energy (EPC), advanced lighting and smart metering. Beyond a website that explains these services, the business needed to take customer applications online, track meter installations from audit to go-live, give technicians digital forms in the field and keep office staff, technicians and managers working from one system.
What it does
- Public website for solar, lighting and smart metering services, with enquiry and quotation routes
- Step-by-step online forms for meter registration, water and electricity service applications, token transfers and discontinuation notices, with document uploads and signatures
- Dashboard to review, process and follow up every customer submission
- Installation tracker taking each meter from audit through allocation, installation, verification and go-live, with a full history of every change
- CSV import and technician assignment for installation work
- Field forms for meter audits, breaker replacements and meter installations, with before-and-after photos and signatures
- Task manager for assigning work with due dates, priorities and blocked-task reasons
- Email and SMS notifications for customers and staff
- Role-based access for technicians, employees, admins and super admins
- System health checks, error monitoring and a backup-before-migrate release process
